Solid connections: named parents and children. ↔ Marriage. Dashed spans: descent with unknown intervening generations. Political oaths are recorded separately.
What the register establishes.
The first named founding households of the Age of the Divided Crown. These are the earliest fixed branches of our shared register, not a claim that nobody lived before them. House generations 1–3 describe these recorded households; the modern generation count remains unknown.
A ? is an unrecorded span, not a person and not a fixed number of generations. Dashed descent links cross centuries. A marriage joins households; an oath joins banners; neither makes all seven Houses one bloodline.
Fonzo, Francesca and Nico remain in the modern chronicle, but their exact House ancestry is unplaced. Their public records do not yet establish enough to attach a founding branch.
TWO MARRIAGES · ONE COASTAL FACTION
Vespucci and Bambino.
The Harbour Marriage
Dario Vespucci and Livia Bambino marry before the 312 FR map snapshot. Their household at Porto Vela binds harbour provisioning to the Torca herds. Livia retains her Bambino birth identity in the register; marriage does not erase her original House.
The Vale Marriage
Elena Vespucci and Tommaso Bambino form a second household at Torcavalle, also before 312 FR. Their marriage carries Vespucci kin into the valleys while Bambino banners remain sworn to Vespucci leadership.
From rival banners to one Family.

One Modern Day Commission governs the community and its continuing history.
Cenerath’s eruption begins the Doom Ages. At Luciani’s proposal, the surviving Houses form the Ashen Compact under the Fachelli crest, divide the work of survival and leave Vardessa together. This union predates modern Montaro. Individual survival accounts, later marriages and branch histories remain open to recorded play. Garbonzo and Lombardo modern descendants can begin with members; no modern elder is invented merely to fill a space.
Kinship never guarantees political loyalty. Vito Vespucci and Tony Bambino inherit branches joined in Vardessa, yet oppose one another in the modern chronicle. Tony’s death outside TNT Taxi and Vito’s succession are recorded; the generations between their ancestral households remain unknown.
The Modern Day Commission runs the community and oversees every chapter, House and timeline. These ancestral elders are historical characters, not a second present-day chain of command. Luciani preserves the Family’s arts, histories and confidences impartially. Lorenzo preserves continuity and helps the seven-seat Commission distinguish recorded events from proposals.
A place for your character.
Build from a recorded child or a modern descendant, or propose a collateral branch for review. Name the ancestor you connect to, describe the missing link and leave unsupported generations unknown. Your later characters stay in that chosen founding line; a House choice alone does not prove kinship.
