Fictional Systems Policy

The controlling boundary for ledgers, businesses, assets, collectibles, territory, progression, and any future social games.

Effective August 24, 2026 · Applies outside the fictional story
THE CONTROLLING RULE

When an in-character order, custom, scene, or storyline conflicts with real-world safety, consent, law, platform policy, host-server rules, or this community policy, the fictional material yields immediately.

01

Closed-loop entertainment only

Website economy records are fictional story-management tools, not money, banking, gambling, investing, employment, or ownership systems.

  • Ledger units, XP, fictional debts, businesses, assets, collectibles, territories, titles, awards, and standings have no cash value and are not legal tender, property, wages, securities, deposits, or promises of future value.
  • Nothing may be purchased, redeemed, withdrawn, exchanged for real or virtual currency, transferred to an outside service, or used to obtain real goods, services, labor, access, influence, or benefits.
  • No official exchange rate, price comparison, appraisal, investment return, appreciation claim, or real-world marketplace is permitted.
  • The operator may correct, reverse, freeze, expire, or reset fictional records to protect safety, balance, canon, and system integrity.
02

No wagering or chance-based value

  • The website does not offer real-money poker, betting, raffles, lotteries, sports books, sweepstakes, paid tournaments, paid entries, loot boxes, or games in which something of value is risked or awarded by chance.
  • XP, Ledger Units, rank, awards, collectibles, businesses, territory, access, moderation outcomes, and story rights may never be staked or awarded through poker or another chance-based activity.
  • Any future card-table feature must use free, non-transferable, non-purchasable session counters that cannot unlock anything and may be reset without notice.
  • Until a qualified attorney approves a final jurisdiction-specific design, interactive wagering features remain disabled.
03

Separate records

  • XP is a non-transferable record of documented contribution and may never be sold, traded, purchased, wagered, or converted.
  • Fictional ledger records may support transparent story accounting but may never create a real debt or obligation.
  • Family rank is a fictional character position; community permission is real website access. Neither may be purchased, wagered, or automatically granted by the other.
  • Support contributions and commercial transactions remain outside every fictional ledger and progression system.
04

Businesses, assets, and territory

  • A fictional business is a roleplay record, not a legal entity, partnership, franchise, employment relationship, investment, or claim against a game server.
  • Fictional loans, interest, payroll, taxes, kickbacks, reserves, margins, and contracts exist only as story mechanics and are unenforceable outside the simulation.
  • Territory means a host-approved story assignment or canon record. It conveys no ownership, exclusivity, control over players, or authority over another server.
  • No storyline loss, debt, foreclosure, seizure, or territorial decision may be enforced through real harassment, payment demands, exclusion, or retaliation.
05

Collectibles and trading

  • Collectibles are revocable database records used for story and provenance. They are not NFTs, tokens, investments, securities, or property interests.
  • No randomized paid packs, artificial real-money scarcity, outside sales, account sales, crypto wallets, blockchain transfers, or off-platform real-money trading are permitted.
  • Members may report suspected real-money trading. Administrators may void affected fictional transactions and handle the conduct issue through real community procedure.
06

Human oversight and audit

  • Material issuance, corrections, transfers, grants, and reversals must be attributable in an audit record.
  • Lorenzo may identify inflation, concentration, inactivity, or suspicious patterns, but cannot transact, seize assets, change rank, or discipline a person.
  • Large or unusual changes should receive review by two authorized community administrators where practical.
  • Questions, disputes, and correction requests go through the Contact Desk or an authenticated reporting tool—not through fictional collections or retaliation.

If it can be bought, cashed out, wagered, or enforced in real life, it does not belong in the Family simulation.
